HHS, USDA double down on anti-processed foods crusade

The Trump administration doesn’t seem to care that the food industry hates the MAHA Super Bowl ad. It did create drama among other advertisers, though. Plus, FDA’s latest moves on additives and food allergies.

Happy Tuesday, and welcome to Food Fix. This is the 325th edition of this newsletter, drafted while listening to Bad Bunny. I’m trying to recall a Super Bowl halftime show with more food and ag references in it? From the sugar cane fields to the Piragua (shaved ice) stand and the bodega with an EBT sign, there was a lot to chew on.
