Happy Tuesday, and welcome to Food Fix. In case you missed it, I pushed out a special breaking news edition of this newsletter last night with the scoop that Jim Jones, FDA’s deputy commissioner for human foods, had resigned from his post at the agency. This is big news – Jones has only been on the job since September 2023, and the massive reorg he oversaw just took effect a few months ago.
