Mea culpa: In Friday’s edition of the newsletter, I shared the wrong timeline for one of the proposed changes to SNAP in the reconciliation package. The provision to shift more of the share of administrative costs to the states (from 50/50 to 75/25) would kick in immediately, not in 2028.
